Ally is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Counselor Education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at East Carolina University and holds a Graduate Certificate in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from NC State, where she developed a strong foundation in mental health, interpersonal dynamics, and human development.

Ally has experience providing individual therapy as a practicum student to clients facing a range of mental health concerns, including social anxiety, adjustment disorder, and depression. In this role, she worked collaboratively with clients to build trust, identify treatment goals, and support emotional well-being through consistent therapeutic engagement.

In addition, she has worked as a behavior technician in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), supporting children on the Autism Spectrum and partnering with families to implement individualized interventions. These experiences strengthened her ability to build rapport, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold ethical and confidentiality standards.

Ally supports adolescents and families with strong communication, organization, and rapport-building skills. She helps coordinate care, lead groups, and ensure a safe, supportive environment. Her strengths include risk assessment, crisis response, and connecting clients to resources, all while maintaining confidentiality and supporting clinical goals.

In her free time, Ally loves to cook, read romance or fantasy novels, and find new cities to explore!
