Juliana Schiano

Hey! Hey! My name is Juliana (she/they), but most people call me Jules. I am a Clinical Intern here at Simply Teens. I graduated from Elon University in 2023 with Bachelor of Arts in Communications Design and Human Service Studies. I am currently working towards my Master of Social Work with a concentration in direct practice at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. At UNC, I am an Inclusive TEAMS scholar, taking part in a clinical fellowship that works with LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC youth and their families. In the past I have worked with college students doing non-clinical case management, as well as with families navigating custody mediation. I am passionate about LGBTQ+ affirming care and working with adolescents and families of all backgrounds and identities. I am interested in a variety of therapeutic modalities and would love to explore what works best for you and your journey. I particularly enjoy bringing art and hand-on activities into sessions.
