Heather Mathis

Hi! My name is Heather, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. I meet my clients where they are, and work hard to build rapport and the therapeutic relationship. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families. I will build a strengths based treatment plan for you to enable positive change. I use a combination of CBT, DBT, and Person Centered therapy modalities to help you reach your goals.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Salisbury University in Maryland, and I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from Delaware State University. I am a passionate therapist who works well with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, neurodiversity, and mood disorders. I am also LGBTQ+ affirming, and am affirming of all identities. I know working through mental health issues can be overwhelming, and I am here to provide you with tools to find peace and contentment in your life.
