Annie Haunton

Hello! My name is Annie (she/her), and I am the Assistant Office Manager and a Qualified Professional (QP) in groups at Simply Teens Outpatient. 

I recently earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree from North Carolina State University and plan to pursue a Master of Social Work program soon. I have experience working with teens and adults in developing resilience along their journey with physical and mental health challenges and triumphs. I am passionate about actively living out social justice practices and am committed to providing LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodiversity affirming, trauma-informed care. Clinically, I am most interested in studying and utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), expressive arts therapy, animal-assisted therapy, and somatic modalities. 

In my free time, I enjoy crafting, being in nature, anything related to dogs, and learning and exploring new ideas and cultures. I am also a big NC State sports fan – Go Pack!
