Hi! My name is Aniah, and I am a graduate student at Louisiana State University working towards a Master in Social Work degree. My ultimate goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker!
For over four years I have worked with kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities, teaching independent living skills, social skills, and shaping behaviors for better communication. At Simply Teens Outpatient, my goal is to begin honing my skills in clinical mental health by working with individuals, groups, and families.
I have always had a passion for helping others and am especially passionate about LGBTQ+ youth and minority mental health. I am compassionate and approach with curiosity, not judgement. I strive to motivate and empower others to make necessary changes to improve their lives.
