Hello, and welcome! My name is Tamiya, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) who strives to commit to children, adolescents, and their families through simple approaches, fostering trust throughout service delivery and overall, trust in the mental health resources. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Saint Augustine’s University and earned a Master of Social Work from North Carolina Central University. I provide support to individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, stress, or behavioral challenges. I utilize modalities, such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness to help my consumers unpack thoughts and feelings, while unlocking pathways to healing. 

I believe that everyone deserves a therapeutic experience that ultimately reflects breaths of fresh air. I look forward to serving you throughout your journey of healing!
